In December we made a donation of €1000 to the Peter McVerry Trust. Peter McVerry Trust is a charity set up by Fr Peter McVerry to reduce homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage.

Thanks to Pat Doyle, CEO of Peter McVerry Trust who sent us a lovely letter in reply.

" On behalf of Peter McVerry Trust, I would like to sincerely thank Rosie and Jim for the generous donation of €1000 which was received with sincere thanks in my office.
The goal of Peter McVerry Trust is to reduce homelessness, drug misuse and social disadvantage. In 2015, we supported 4,705 individuals through our prevention services, homeless services, housing services, drug treatment services and under 18s residential services.

There's no doubt that the need of homeless people is great, but your generosity makes it possible for us to continue our work and to move as many individuals as we can out of homelessness.

Thank you again for this generous contribution..."
