What a pleasure it was to attend the Gluten Free Roadshow organised by The Coeliac Society of Ireland in Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork.

This event, sponsored by Dunnes Stores, was a fantastic day with cookery demos, informative talks and panel discussions.

The attendants thoroughly enjoyed their samples of Rosie & Jim chicken including Gluten Free Battered Chunks, Gluten free Southern Fried Goujons and Gluten Free Crispy Shredded Chicken.

It was great to chat to everyone and hear how much they enjoyed eating our products in their homes.

We're already looking forward to next year’s event.

We couldn't have done it without you!
Here's to even more success in the future!

Thanks to Kathy, Champ's minder for taking these wonderful photos of Champ. He had the company of another puppy, Orbit, in training recently. How cute are they together?!

His training going very well.  He is excellent in the house apart from waking up too early! He is walking very well, stops a bit to check things out but quickly continues on.  His recall is very good.

He is growing into a fine handsome dog and loves his free runs away from the training.

Being from near Stradbally in Co. Laois, Rosie & I know and love the festival that has become Ireland biggest arts and music festival. Electric Picnic is a fantastic fun weekend with top acts from around the world. It sells out very quickly every year. So with that in mind Rosie decided to get in early and purchase two tickets for one lucky winner. We ran a competition on Facebook which Reached over 40,000 people. That's about as many as go to the festival! We chose a random winner from the huge number of entrants and Rebecca Small aka Becky Beag, was our lucky winner.

"Thanks so much again- still can't believe I won them!  I love yer chicken goujons :)) "

Congratulations Becky! We know you will enjoy!

Hank

The dogs are now back training properly, albeit with some necessary restrictions in place but none impactful on the dogs at all.

Here is Champ out training in Cork with trainer, Cliodhna. He has his Guide Dog harness and training is all going very well.

Izzy is working with trainer Ciara and is going to soon graduate as a Guide Dog.

Hank has been working with trainer, Martin and he should be able to begin training with the family soon.
Here he is with his blue harness which denotes him as a proud Assistance Dog graduate! He has been matched to a family in Cork who’s son has autism and will begin home training with them in the next week or so. Strict measures will be in place for the trainers as they work with the family and PPE equipment will be used.

We're thrilled to see the first of the three dogs graduate on to one of the programmes! Well done Hank!

Rosie and Jim were especially delighted to donate €450 to our very own staff member Tracey who was fundraising for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie charity. Tracey was one of over 2,000 women who set a new world record with the Worlds Largest Skinny Dip event at a secluded beach in Wicklow. With all proceeds going to the National Children’s Cancer Charity it really is a fantastic charity to support.

Tracey also held a fundraiser night and we were more than happy to provide the food for the night which raised €1400.
