We're delighted to sponsor Andrew Wallace €150 for his charity race to raise awareness for Amyloidosis.

Amyloidosis (am-uh-loi-DO-sis) is a rare disease that occurs when a substance called amyloid builds up in your organs. Amyloid is an abnormal protein that is produced in your bone marrow and can be deposited in any tissue or organ.

Well done to Andrew who is on track to fundraise his aim of €5000.

Andrew not only made his target he completely shattered it! Making a huge €21,000 himself,  then a charity benefactor matched his donation, so that has now been turned into a whopping €42,000!! Fantastic News - well done Andrew!

Rosie & Jim have made a donation of €2000 to the Oxfam Ireland 'Get Children Back to School' fundraising initiative. 

Children in Iraq probably want nothing more than to go back to their classrooms and playgrounds too. But as families who fled Mosul when the conflict started slowly start to return, they’re finding their schools destroyed.

They were planning an annual cycle around Blessington Lakes on April 25th but this fundraising event sadly had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. So they have come up with a new plan - for May!

Cycle 60km during the month of May, in your own area and when suits you to help continue to care for our families at this unique time. It costs us €60.00 per night per family, and by registering you will be providing a family a home for the night when they need it the most.  Register online on Giv2Go for €60.00. Susan O’Keeffe has Motor Neurone Disease, a progressive condition that affects how messages are sent to the muscles.  She can’t speak any more and has very limited mobility; she can type with one finger. Even though she has a very serious illness and is facing life’s end far too early, her focus is on helping others.  She has generously offered to help Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services to raise funds for the build and fit-out of 36 new single, state-of-the-art, palliative care bedrooms at the Hospice in Harold’s Cross.  

We received a remarkable letter from Susan, telling us her amazing story, and the incredible benefit the Hospice at Blackrock is to her and other’s in a similar place to her.

We, at Rosie & Jim, were humbled to be able to donate €250 to the Hospice for these crucial building works.  

We’re thrilled to see Rosie & Jim featured in the Business Post, highlighting our current journey and plans for growth!

What a pleasure it was to attend the Gluten Free Roadshow organised by The Coeliac Society of Ireland in Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork.

This event, sponsored by Dunnes Stores, was a fantastic day with cookery demos, informative talks and panel discussions.

The attendants thoroughly enjoyed their samples of Rosie & Jim chicken including Gluten Free Battered Chunks, Gluten free Southern Fried Goujons and Gluten Free Crispy Shredded Chicken.

It was great to chat to everyone and hear how much they enjoyed eating our products in their homes.

We're already looking forward to next year’s event.

Thanks to Kathy, Champ's minder for taking these wonderful photos of Champ. He had the company of another puppy, Orbit, in training recently. How cute are they together?!

His training going very well.  He is excellent in the house apart from waking up too early! He is walking very well, stops a bit to check things out but quickly continues on.  His recall is very good.

He is growing into a fine handsome dog and loves his free runs away from the training.
